The Way I am

We are all freaks in a way. We dress up, we talk to impress or even better we say we don’t care but this never change that at a moment we will look in the mirror to see a freak in need of acceptance. Someone to take us the way we are. Someone who won’t get out the fixing tools to mend all the fractions. Someone to see the beauty in the pieces, the value of dirt and the significance of nothing.

I don’t know why this song gives me a heart ache.

Enjoy!

Great post.

All of us, no matter how confident someone may seem, has the fear inside them. A fear about our purpose, who we are, and what the hell we're doing here.

If two people can temporarily let go of this fear while in a comforting embrace, then that's just beautiful and really as good as it'll get...

Yes, indeed. There is a freak in everyone of us, and acceptance is all we desire deep down.

Rejection is always painful, no matter how small it may seem to others.

But sometimes, when you have a partner in life, it gives u the best feeling when he loves you for who you are, with all your flaws. heeee... oh well, love is not blind. people are. opppss!!.. hehe!

can't help it, but i'm a love cynic. although i am engaged ready to get married. ironic huh? -.-"

but there is one true love. His love for us. and He will love us, even with all the sins we commit, for we are His Creations, and his love for us is limitless. well, at least that's how i view love. =)

btw, the song is sooooooooooo cute. the clapping sound brings back the old skool days of 60's (i'm not sure which year actually)with the hair of audrey hepburn, cute dress and long white gloves. hehehe!

Hello Basil
I completely agree, but I think it is rare to find those people who accept what we think are our flaws as they are. Humans tend to criticize and advise whenever possible, I believe part of covering their own flaws!

Thanks for passing by

My dearest Haz
This is the very first time for me to know that you are engaged! We got to talk about that girl :)
Rejection is the worst feeling ever, and it hurt even more when those who reject you think that whatever they are saying or doing is for your own benefit.
I loved the clapping too. I am replaying it over and over for two days now :)
